His company has been in business 20 years, all along with the same personnel who have helped me numerous times over the years. This includes purchasing hardware, assisting with my business' networking, upgrading of various systems (such as RAM, SSD installation, battery replacements, etc.). Use my home computer for work....and noted this week that using it was more tedious than usual. Decided to take my four year old desktop for a tune up. Jerome thoroughly diagnosed the machine and went the extra mile. Found out that my motherboard, I5--had failed. Bought a brand new machine--made it totally painless for me. Just a note to thank you and Ryan for your help today...it was a simple fix to insert the disk! The monitors are working well together so far. The tech at my workplace was kind enough to provide me with a longer cable as well. Now I have no excuse not to be more productive with my dissertation!
I finally talked with a supervisor at Comcast today. Hopefully they will make good on the damage to the laptop. It seems that it may take up to a month to process. I won't mind as long as I get a check in the end!

I called Marlton Computers after Best Buys told me my laptop had to be replaced. The tech looked at my computer and said he could repair it and that I didn't need to replace it. This was great news because the difference in cost was a huge. They informed me of all my options, costs, and they also installed it the same day. It cost me $89.00 bucks for the quote to repair it but they applied the estimate toward the repair cost which was only $149.00. The tech also gave my computer a tune up and cleaned all the dirt that accumulated over the years from the fans in the unit. I couldn't have been happier or more educated about the repair. Thanks guys! You rock! I will definitely use them again if I need to in the future as well as letting my friends know who to call. They saved me a ton of money I didn't have.
